What documents need to be provided to the valuer for making the valuation?
The required documentation varies depending on the type of asset being evaluated. In the most common scenario of a real estate valuation for mortgage purposes you typically need to provide document of ownership (Title deed), cadastral sketch/scheme issued by the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency (AGKK), architectural plan/sketch (floor plans/architectural scheme of the property or building), building permit (official construction authorization), lease agreement (If the property is currently tenanted), and prior valuation (if available).
Other additional documents include a certificate of encumbrance, tax evaluation certificate, and any other relevant background information regarding the property being valued.
